How do I get started?
Your journey into the world of Shelfworthy starts with the Search feature.
You, the user, can search the database for any book, video, or game.
Just follow these steps:
- Select a category in the first box on the right corner: Books, Movies, or Games.
- In the second box, type in a title, name, or keyword.
- Click Search (or hit enter).
A list of results will pop down. From here you view more information on an item by clicking its cover image. Also, from these results, you are able to add items to your Library.
In order to add an item to your Library, all you have to do is select one of the actions that appears when you mouseover an item. For example, if you recently acquired an item you can select Own. Or if you just rented a movie and watched it you can select Watched. You can also select multiple actions to provide more detail of your status with the item: if you buy a video and watched it you can select both Own and Watched. Please note that you can perform these actions to multiple items in your Search results.
Once you have finished making your selections you can refresh your browser and check out your Library. The items will now be on your shelves. You can also perform additional actions while viewing your shelf. If you mouseover an item you will see a small tab appear on the right corner of the item. Mouseover that tab and your actions for that item will appear.
